USDA’s Section 515 program has been an effective strategy for creating affordable rents in rural areas of the U.S., but these homes face many challenges including poor property conditions and loss of affordability when mortgages mature, which is happening at a rapid pace.  

In this session, you will learn about 515 properties in your state and region, discuss preservation options and resources for these homes, and identify policy and program reform opportunities.
