Our 2022 Spring Conference is one the first in person events for NCRC & Minnesota NAHRO. In addition to the many great sessions and national experts, we are providing ample opportunities to network throughout the conference. Check out our fun events below and some require advance registration. You may also add on these events as part of your conference registration.
Paisley Park Tour
Monday 2pm to 5:30pm – $67 per person: transportation provided & advance registration required
A visit to Minnesota must include Paisley Park – Prince’s extraordinary estate and production complex in Chanhassen, MN. Visitors will see artifacts from Prince’s personal archives, including iconic concert wardrobe, awards, musical instruments, artwork, motorcycles, rare music and video recordings. Space is limited so register soon. Advance registration required & space is limited so sign up early. The bus will depart/return from the hotel. Sign up below or add on in your registration. St Paul Pub Crawl hosted by NCRC & Minnesota NAHRO Leaders
Monday 6pm until …
We kick off our conference with a fun networking event Monday night featuring locations that used to be something else. Our pub crawl will include a former convent and a site that used to be a Macy’s but is now hockey practice rink for the Wild. Dinner will be available at many of the locations and all are welcomed. We will leave and return to the St Paul Riverfront Hotel.
2022 Awards Banquet
Tuesday 6pm to 8pm – included with conference registration
Join us Tuesday night to celebrate the many accomplishments of our members. Our awards banquet will feature the NCRC & Minnesota Awards as well as our 2022 Scholarship Winners.
Community Revitalization & Development Tours
Two options on Wednesday (see conference registration) – $25 each & transportation provided
CR&D Green Line Tour – CSH Field to Alliance Field & All the Vouchers in Between : The path of the Light Rail Green Line travels through St Paul and along the way, there are many examples of housing development that use vouchers to serve a wide variety of clients. This tour will showcase the many redeveloped sites that use vouchers. Depart/return St Paul Riverfront Hotel, return by lunch.
CR&D St Paul Tour – Revitalization & Reuse Across St Paul: This tour features the creative ways in which historic buildings in St Paul have been preserved and put to new uses. Enjoy visit to a keg house which is now a food hall, a brewery that is now affordable housing and the oldest firehouse in the city that is now mission driven restaurant. Depart/return St Paul Riverfront Hotel, return in time for vendor reception.
Purple & Paisley Scholarship Event
Wednesday 8pm to 11pm – $25 in advance, $30 at the door
This is a party with a purpose! We wrap up the last night of our 2022 Spring Conference with all things Purple & Paisley. While we raise money for the NCRC & Minnesota NAHRO Scholarship Fund, we will enjoy the many hits of Prince and party like it’s 2022! Wear your most outrageous Purple & Paisley as there will be prize for the best dressed to our theme. So get your glam on and wear your Raspberry Beret. Register in advance for $25 as it will be $30 at the door. All tickets sold will benefit our scholarship fund so sign up today.
