The Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA), a local and nationally recognized housing industry leader is accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is part of the CDA’s Property Management department that oversees the leasing, management and maintenance of over 2,900 units of housing located throughout Dakota County. This position is part of a team of 14 maintenance staff that are each assigned a portfolio of properties to service. Maintenance Technicians use independent decision making to prioritize work orders and complete daily tasks. Technical skills required include knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical systems, light carpentry and lock repair.
Hiring salary range: $44,602 – $55,751. Overtime and additional compensation is provided for on-call rotations. Benefit package offers: medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, retirement plan, 11 paid holidays, and 20 sick/vacation days per year. Vehicle and tools are provided. Rotating on-call schedule every 8-10 weeks. Paid training and professional development.
