DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Housing Coordinator, coordinates and administers the operation of the rental assistance programs, homeownership and family self-sufficiency programs, and other housing programs and initiatives that support stable, affordable housing options and reduces homelessness in Mankato and Blue Earth County. Is required to make daily decisions based on city, state, and federal regulations; and is expected to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. Perform community outreach, education, and general information referral.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban studies, sociology, business, home economics with a housing concentration, social work or related field; and one (1) year of responsible work experience with subsidized housing programs.
ALTERNATIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: At least four (4) years of experience with subsidized housing programs.

HOURS OF WORK:
Regular working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and outside of regular working hours as necessary.
