Salary: $123,600 – 144,200 per year
The Minneapolis Public Housing Authority (MPHA) and its affiliated organizations own and operate public housing and other affordable housing. The affordable housing portfolio is made up of properties that MPHA affiliates under project-based rental contracts as well as commercial space. The owner of the properties are generally limited partnerships that must comply with low-income housing tax credit regulations and reporting. MPHA owns and operates 69,597 square feet of commercial space designated as the Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center, bringing together a variety of partners in one convenient space.
The primary purpose of this position is to direct the management of and oversee the planning and coordinating of MPHA’s affordable housing properties; provides leadership that builds cohesiveness within the department for achieving performance standards. The incumbent develops and oversees the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain program compliance with Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LITHC) and Project-Based Voucher (PBV) programs. In addition, the incumbent oversees the use and partnerships for the Cora McCorvey Center.
