Business Development Manager – Scott County CDA

The Scott County Community Development Agency (SC-CDA) in Shakopee, MN, is accepting applications for a detail-oriented professional with exceptional client-service and technical skills to fill the position of full-time Business Development Manager.  Work involves assisting the communities of Scott County by researching and identifying properties that meet business request requirements, communicating with real estate brokers, developers and local government officials to assist in project development.  Manages business incubator program’s day to day activities; coordinating training/networking sessions; preparing information for Board of Advisors, working with perspective incubator entrepreneurs and coordinating the annual business challenge.

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economic development, marketing, urban planning/real estate, and 3-5 years experience in commercial real estate, business/economic development, municipal planning, or entreprenuership.  May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred skills include experience with Salesforce and InBIA incubator manager certificate.

Hiring salary range of $66,985 to 81,194 (exempt).
