The Red Wing HRA received $2.4 million from Minnesota Housing through the Community Stabilization Program, a one-time initiative created to preserve naturally occurring affordable housing. The appropriation for the Community Stabilization Program specifies that $41,750,000 should be allocated for multifamily rental housing.
The Red Wing HRA owns and maintains the 12-unit Bluffview Townhomes. There have not been many improvements since it was built in 1984. The overall scope of work includes completing site improvements, building envelope upgrades, interior renovations, mechanical and electrical updates, flooring replacements, and appliance replacements.
Congratulations to the Red Wing HRA for securing this investment and continuing the work of preserving quality, affordable housing for Minnesota residents!
