Job Description
The mission of the Carver County Community Development Agency is to provide affordable housing and economic development in the cities of Carver County. We are seeking a flexible, compassionate, strategic thinker to perform supervisory and professional work for CDA programs including the Carver County Community Land Trust, the Small Cities Development Program, and housing rehabilitation programs. This position is a part of our Community and Economic Development department and will also assist with programs and initiatives in that area.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s or associate’s degree and three years’ experience in housing or community development or a directly related field (or the equivalent combination of education and directly related experience).
Qualifications:
Required: Experience in real estate and or residential and commercial rehabilitation, knowledge of homebuyer and homeownership processes and programs including mortgage loans and foreclosure, project management skills with strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills required.
Preferred: Professional and or lived experience working with diverse communities and or households defined as low income, experience with grant/RFP writing and administration, and supervisory experience preferred.
