Description: The Detroit Lakes Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is seeking a results driven individual to serve as Executive Director. The individual will provide leadership, vision, and direction to the organization to ensure the HRA achieves its mission. The position is directly responsible to the Board of Commissioners for the overall administration and management of the organization, including the execution and implementation of policies and procedures as established by the Board and the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate considerable independence and accountability, as well as effective communications skills, planning skills and leadership skills. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university preferred; or Associates degree plus three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation: Hiring range for the position is $60,000 to $80,000 annually plus an excellent benefits package.
