The Cloquet Housing and Redevelopment Authority is looking for a Section 8/HCV Specialist I to join their team. The ideal candidate will thrive synergizing with a team. They need to have strong prioritizing and time management skills and can pivot from working directly with participants to file management. This full-time, non-exempt position located in Cloquet, MN, offers medical, dental, retirement, short-term & long-term disability, AD&D and life insurance for eligible employees. Employees immediately start accruing Sick Leave from the start, acquire 10 vacation days after the 1st year, and recognize 12 holidays.
The hiring range is $28.68 to $33.22 based on experience.

Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, flexible schedules are negotiable.

Minimum Requirements
· Current and valid driver’s license
· Pass a criminal background check
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
· At least one year of relevant work experience
· Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
· Strong crisis management skills
Preferred Requirements
· Experience in Social Work or Mental Health
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
· Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management practices
· Familiarity with Lindsey software is a plus
· Experience working with programs such as Section 8 and Public Housing is preferred
· Background in addiction counseling is advantageous
