Olmsted County is hiring two Accountants and one of the positions will work within our housing division primarily with the HRA.
OR
Associate’s degree from an accredited college in accounting or related business field and three (3) years of paid, full time experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
OR
Combination of education and experience equivalent to five (5) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver’s license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.
Nature of Work
Under general supervision, this position involves self-directed work providing accounting support, budget preparation and financial analysis to operational managers. Forecasts year-end financial results on an interim basis and produces financial statements and reports, including grants.
